Case-Mate ShowCase 2013 – Mobile Fashion Hits NYC Fashion Week!

Wednesday night, right after Apple announced the new iPhone 5, fashion-forward mobile accessories made their New York Fashion Week debut at the Case-Mate ShowCase 2013 event!

Hosted by Fergie and Common, the official launch of the Right Case. Right Occasion. campaign featured a night of music, fashion, and of course, stylish cases for the iPhone 5 and a number of other devices. The event was streamed live on Case-Mate.com with co-host MTV VJ Quddus interviewing fans, celebrities and designers on the red carpet for thousands of fans watching live at home.

DJ Mia Moretti provided the beats, as guests were treated to a preview of Bravo’s “The Fashion Show: Ultimate Collection” contestant, Cesar Galindo‘s, new Spring 2013 collection, Czar. Each look from the Czar collection was perfectly paired with a matching Case-Mate case, and the crowd watched on as the models moved through the masses and highlighted Case-Mate’s newest mobile accessories.

 

Guests were also treated to a preview of a dress made of recycled rPET cases designed by B. Åkerlund, known for styling “over-the-top” looks for high-profile celebrities including  Madonna, Lady Gaga, Rhianna, Britney Spears, Blondie and the Black Eyed Peas.

Grammy award-winning artist, Common, closed out the show with an unforgettable performance during which he serenaded an ecstatic fan on stage and spit a freestyle that left the audience cheering for more. Overall, it was an epic night for mobile fashion and Case-Mate!

Case-Mate to Stream New York Fashion Week Event Online

ATLANTA, September 6, 2012 – Case-Mate announced today that it will provide free online streaming of its private fashion event and concert scheduled to take place during New York Fashion Week. The ‘ShowCase 2013’ event will be co-hosted by Grammy-Award winning recording artists Fergie and Common and will feature a live performance by Common.

In addition to spotlighting Case-Mate’s latest line-up of stylish cases for smartphones, tablets, and readers, the ‘ShowCase 2013’ event will feature the upcoming Spring 2013 fashion line from CZAR, the clothing collection by Cesar Galindo of Bravo’s “The Fashion Show.”

Behind the Scenes with Fergie

We spent this past weekend with Fergie in Hollywood at a glamorous photo and commercial shoot for our Case-Mate “Right Case, Right Occasion” campaign which will launch during New York Fashion Week in September.

After a long day on the set, Entertainment Tonight‘s Chris Jacobs stopped by for an exclusive behind the scenes interview with Fergie to talk about her life and how she is rocking the right case for the right occasion with Case-Mate.

The “Right Case, Right Occasion” campaign, lead by Fergie, Selena Gomez and Common; will inspire Millennials to outfit their smartphones, tablets and other portable electronic devices with cases that complement their various styles and individual personalities.

The campaign will include broadcast, digital, and social media-based programming. In addition, Fergie and Common will be co-hosting a mobile accessories fashion event for Case-Mate during New York Fashion Week.

“I’m a huge believer in changing up my look to express the way I feel – and am always looking for fun accessories to spice up my outfit so I feel confident and sexy,” said Fergie. “I’m really excited about partnering with Case-Mate – they are such a fun, edgy brand that I relate to on so many levels.”
