Wireless Power Consortium Meeting in Tokyo
March 15th, 2010I’ve been representing case-mate (and case-mate’s new product, the Hug!) at the Japanese headquarters of Amway in Tokyo for the Wireless Power Consortium over the past few days.
The response to the Hug is excellent; everyone is stoked about a member of the WPC finally launching a product and can’t wait to throw this into the next gear! The consortium is working on finalizing the ‘chi’ standard for interoperability. This includes “very techy stuff” about volts and milli amps. We even had to call in Einstein to consult on a few quantun physics theories!
The picture below is actually taken from the mens bathroom on the executive floor. It took three days for the weather to clear enough to get this spectacular view – it was definitely worth the wait though!
