ATLANTA, October 10, 2012 – Case-Mate, the international design company known for creating fashion-forward accessories for mobile technology and tablets, today announced they were awarded a Candidate Experience (CandE) Award with Distinction at the 15th Annual Human Resources Technology Conference & Exposition in Chicago.
Each year the Talent Board, a non-profit research organization dedicated to improving candidate experience, hosts the CandE Awards in order to recognize companies delivering an above average industry standard experience to candidates during the hiring and on-boarding process. Case-Mate was among seven companies selected to be awarded a With Distinction designation. Check out the complete list of 2012 Candidate Experience Winners.
“We are honored to be recognized with distinction for our global recruiting efforts,” said Nancy Geraghty, Case-Mate’s VP of Human Resources. “We know the employment process is very stressful for job seekers – so it is a primary focus for our Talent Acquisition Team to make our recruitment process as effective, efficient and enjoyable as possible.”
In Georgia, where the unemployment rate is above the national average, Case-Mate has hired more than 108 people in 2012 with nearly 140 full-time employees and contractors based out of their Atlanta headquarters. Case-Mate also employs dozens of international employees at its offices in Ireland, Brazil, India and China.
“Case-Mate is known for its laid back and playful atmosphere”, said Alex Putman, Global Director of Talent Acquisition. “We rely on a creative and innovative recruitment process including social media and video strategies to engage potential talent.”
“The Candidate Experience Awards and benchmarking program is designed to elevate candidate experience and recognize those companies that implement innovative recruiting and hiring strategies that clearly keep the job seeker in mind,” said Gerry Crispin, Talent Board co-founder and principal and chief navigator of CareerXroads. “We’re proud to honor and congratulate Case-Mate and the 2012 winners for leading by example and showing candidates that the time and interest they invest is valuable.”
